College Students

This is a very relational group of young adults who are involved with our Thursday night Collide College service. They study the Bible and find friendships every Sunday. If you are college age, this is where you want to be.

This group loves to study the Bible in an unintimidating way. Most of the people in this group have passion for playing music and leading worship. If you have this same interest, then this group is for you.

This is a fun and lively bunch! John is a good teacher and excels in leading his class to care for one another.

Adults Ages 45-55

Dustin and James are born and raised in Bay County. Dustin is a local judge and has two boys. His wife Lorri co-owns a local boutique. James is married to Kelly and they have three grown children.

Scott and Sara Johnson

Adults Ages 35-50

The Johnson family has recently moved to Bay County. Scott currently serves as a government civilian in Public Affairs at Tyndall Air Force Base and Sara helps raise their three boys. They understand what it is like to be new in a community and have the gift of hospitality to make others feel extremely welcomed!

Adults Ages 30s

Whether you are dating, engaged, or married with or without kids, Keith and Allison can relate very well to all phases of life. Keith and Allison have been married for a long time and have two young kids. The goal of this group is to build relationships and do life together.

Adult Ages 30-40

Adam and Lydia lead this group designed to relate to people who want to do life with other adults. Adam teaches from the Bible and then seeks to lead a discussion applying the Scriptures to the issues that families face.

Young Adults

Alex and Hannah are from Bay County and Alex serves on the church pastoral staff. This small group is full of people who want to seek Jesus and allow others to see God through their lives. If you are a young adult looking for community and for a group of people to do life with, this is the group for you. They not only plan to connect through small group, but also through fun events.

Larry has pastored numerous churches and is an excellent Bible teacher. This group is Bible based and extremely relational. If you are 55 or older this is the group for you!

This group is for all ages, but focuses on families of college students and empty nesters. This is a fun group of people who enjoy strong biblical teaching and great community.

Men Ages 18+

This group will be studying the book How to be a Man. The goal of this study is to help spur men on to a more passionate pursuit of Christ-centered manhood. The study will look at 8 core characteristics from the person of Christ that all men can seek to exemplify in their own lives.

Children's Small Groups

Preschool & Children

All children receive a Bible-based lesson from teachers who love and care for them. Our preschoolers use a hands-on approach to learning foundational Bible stories. Our elementary aged children make their way through a 3-year chronological journey through the Bible.

WOW Room & Preschool Classrooms

Tricia Roark & Lindsey Ivey

Kindergarten

Tricia is a mom to Braden (16) and Riley (5). She currently works with students on the autism spectrum, and enjoys spending time with her family. She has been involved with the preschool ministry over the last couple years, and is excited to work with Kindergarten this year! Lindsey grew up attending Emerald Coast fellowship. She currently works in the dental field. Lindsey and her husband, Andrew have two boys.( Easton & Mason)  She enjoys spending time with her family and watching her boys play ball. Lindsey has taught in the preschool ministry before but is looking forward to teaching Kindergarten this year!

Carrie Moore & Taylor Chester

1st Grade

Carrie has been at ECF since 2011 when her husband, Doug, joined the staff as student pastor. She has been serving in children’s ministry since her teens and loves kids. She is also involved with the Wreck. She and Doug have 3 active boys. Hi my name is Taylor Chester. My husband Brannon and I have been attending ECF since 2018. We love spending time with our chocolate lab, family, and friends.

Natalie Knot & Coleen Hernandez

2nd Grade A

Natalie and her family moved to Panama City in 2020 after her husband's retirement from the Navy. Prior to living in Panama City, they were in Fleming Island, FL for four years where Natalie served as a 1st grade Bible study teacher at Hibernia Baptist. She and her husband have three children. I’m Coleen, married with three kids. I have been a member of ECF for 5 years. I have been volunteering in the nursery and preschool ministry and am thoroughly excited to be able to teach kids about Jesus! Me and my family love being outdoors and traveling!

Crystal & Brandon Poiroux

2nd Grade B

The Poiroux family has attend ECF since 2018. Brandon and Crystal have been blessed with two adventurous boys, Vincent and Max. Both Brandon and Crystal work within Bay District Schools. Currently, Brandon is an administrator at Deane Bozeman School and Crystal is a Speech Language Pathologist at Margaret K. Lewis School. Their family enjoys boating, fishing, traveling, and taco Tuesdays.

Lauren & John Fielding

3rd Grade

John and Lauren Fielding have been married for 10 years and have 4 children. The Fieldings love to be outdoors and exploring all of the fun Bay County has to offer. John and Lauren both love serving the children at ECF and have been teaching small groups for many years.

Heather Creel & Kristen Keezer

4th Grade

Heather and her family have attended ECF since 2012. She serves on the worship team and has been involved in Children's Ministry for over 15 years. She and her husband Nate have two sons, Ryan and Benjamin. Kristen and her family have been attending ECF since July of 2017. In addition to serving as a Sunday school teacher, she also is mentor as part of the Elevate Bay mentor program. She and her husband, Tj have 5 children.

Christi Taylor & Staci Crowe

5th Grade

Christi has been attending ECF since 2007.  She serves as the 5th grade Sunday School teacher and sings on the Praise Team.  Christi also teaches 5th grade at Bay Haven Charter Academy.  She and her husband, Pastor Steve, have two children. Staci has been attending ECF since 2018. She and her husband, Robert, have 3 children, and she works at a local physician’s office as an administrator.

The Wreck offers both High School and Middle School small group options for our teenagers to get involved in on Sunday mornings. The goal is to create an environment for students to connect with one another and be able to do life together.

Middle School Girls

Joshua and Cami have been attending ECF for a long time. They have a heart for teenagers and want to see them grow in their relationship with the Lord. They have two children and love to spend time together as a family.

Middle School Guys

Bryan and Jessica have been in Bay County for a long time. They are both highly relational people who connect well with others. They have three boys. They love having fun and doing things as a family. This will be a very fun and active group.

Stephen & Jennifer Sims

High School

Jennifer and Stephen Sims have attended ECF for three years.  Jennifer recently joined the ECF staff and Stephen is a local business owner.  They spend their free time entertaining in their home, playing on the water and spending as much time outside as possible.  Both have a passion for investing in students and doing life in community.  The Sims have three young children, two sons and one daughter.

Stephen Jencks & Brett Frank

High School

Stephen Jencks and Brett Frank have served faithfully at ECF for a long time. They both posses great leadership characteristics and they both have hearts for Jesus. They want to see students be successful. The way they do that is by engaging students and helping them grow in their relationship with the Lord.
